Researched medieval manuscript layout, calligraphic style of the 15c, Lombardic capitals, and the use of pilcrow (capitula) for denoting new paragraphs. The Glossa Ordinaria is printed at a larger trim size with separate threaded manuscripts running concurrently: the commentary text and scripture text with interlinear gloss. Text variables were used to assign chapters and verses for the running heads. Extensive endnotes in both manuscripts. Typeset in Arno Pro and Amador.
